Business Analyst

A Business Analyst is required for our client based in Leeds for an initial 3-year fixed term contract. This is a hybrid position, 1-2 days per week on site (please only apply if you can commit to this).

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has previously worked on IT Transformation projects, including assessing current IT systems and involvement in procuring new systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand the needs of departments and the organisation.
• Lead responsibility for managing the successful design, strategic / functional specification requirements and implementation of key corporate systems supporting the organisation’s business plan.
• Lead responsibility for the development of quality assured business specifications, user acceptance testing of new systems and implementation of business processes.
• Manage the specification of new system requirements and businesses processes.

Experience

• Extensive analysis knowledge gained from significant experience of business analysis projects to enable problems to be investigated and options for new and existing services to be evaluated. Knowledge of how to provide recommendations to solutions.
• Significant knowledge of business modelling techniques and business improvement processes.
• Strong experience of agile working with ability to. identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Knowledge of how to help the team to decide the best approach.
• Knowledge of how to gain the necessary agreement needed from subject matter experts and stakeholders for analysis processes.
• Strong knowledge of business process testing with demonstrable ability of enabling the planning, design, management and reporting of business process tests and usability evaluations. Ability to apply evaluation skills to see how appropriate or useful the defined process is going to be.
