Position: Business Analyst (Banking)
Location: Halifax or Leeds (Hybrid working)
Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract
Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the requirements elicitation, analysis, process design and solution design for project workstreams.
You will use Business Analysis tools and techniques to support the Project Manager to identify and understand the business need, analyse, and prioritise the requirements, through to assessing, designing, testing and implementing agreed solutions.
Accountabilities will include:
- Define, document, and support the implementation of changes to the workstreams. Working in collaboration with a wide range of colleagues develop and maintain the project documentation.
- Feeds into business study/programme proposals
- Supports a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle, obtaining acceptance and buy-in to the approach from all team members, and will produce project management deliverables to the required level of quality.
- Supports the production and evolution of the project plan and monitors project timescales and budgets, reporting variances, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays or difficulties.
- Engages with key project stakeholders and supports the project communication plan.
- Where appropriate, manages, motivates, develops and coaches assigned team members to create a high performing team.
- Continuously monitors projects for risk issues and regulatory compliance and takes appropriate steps to mitigate or escalate where appropriate.
- Positively influences others by demonstrating core values and behaviour and encourages this in team members.
Skills Required:
- E2E Business Analyst experience
- Complement existing members of the team
- Requirements gathering
- Elicitation
- Strong comms skills/stakeholder management
- Banking/Financial services experience/knowledge
- Change/transformation (exp of big change within FS/Banking)
