A fantastic opportunity here at phs,thishighlyspecialistposition isentirelyfocused onidentifying and securing new business opportunitieswithin the hygiene sector.
Building an extremely robust pipeline of opportunities will be required, working with the existing sales team, key account managers and tenders team to create and manage expert mapping to identify new business opportunities in a strategic manner, at pace.


What youll be doing as a Business Development Executive:
  • Achievement of annualnew business revenuesales target
  • Creation of a very strong pipeline of opportunities; at leastfivetimes sales target will be requiredin order toachieve objectives
  • Creation ofopportunity mappingacrosshygienesector
  • Pre-Tender engagement with identified target opportunities
  • Input at tendering stage with reference to key win themes,pricingand differentiators
  • Working with the existing hygienesales team to identify and close opportunities
  • Extensive use of Salesforce CRM ensuring that all activities,contactsand opportunities are recorded accurately
  • Ability to manage your own diary and determine inputs required to deliver success
  • Creation of significant pipeline to support sales and recognise the lengthier sales cycle associated with high value customer accounts


What you will have:
  • Demonstrable experience ofselling tocustomers in a challenging and complex environment(5years plus)
  • At least 5 years experience of selling in a service-based industrypreferable in the washroom hygiene sector
  • Integrity,honestyand a proven desire to be the best for both your customersand the business you represent
  • Demonstrable understanding and evidence of outstanding communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Highly developedrelationship buildingskillsare required, as is the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A good team player who has a track record of being a brand ambassador in previous roles
  • A full clean UK drivinglicenseis required for this roleas travel will be extensive
  • A security check or be willing to get one
