Based in either Leeds or Manchester, a brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Executive to join a leading law firm to provide support across the full marketing and business development remit on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

The Business Development team is a centralised function advising and supporting the firm in its marketing, sales support and business development activities. The key drivers for the team are to support the development and implementation of the firm’s strategy and in particular help drive profitable revenue growth, support partners and fee earners to provide the best client experience and develop and deliver a clear brand proposition through the firm's sector focus. Operating as part of an established team, who all help and support each other, you will work alongside a Senior Business Development Manager to deliver sector strategy through related BD and marketing activity. You will work on high profile BD projects and provide BD support to partners and fee earners across practice groups and will be involved in the full spectrum of BD tasks that you would expect from an international law firm. The successful applicant will be very hands on with a clear objective of getting tasks completed. The role holder will be expected to build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders within Groups and will need to become a trusted BD advisor. The Senior Business Development Executive will enjoy a broad role developing, implementing and reviewing business plans with responsibilities encompassing BD, including leading on the production and delivery of bids and tenders for new business opportunities and client relationship management, and also a range of broader marketing activities, such as digital marketing, events and thought leadership.

The role would suit a proactive candidate with excellent attention to detail and proven business development experience gained in a law firm to include demonstrable success in supporting bids and tenders. Outstanding writing, communication and influencing skills are also a pre-requisite in order to deal directly with senior internal stakeholders and influence them on marketing and business development initiatives. A team player with a 'can-do’ attitude, the Senior Business Development Executive will enjoy working under pressure and will manage conflicting requests or concurrent multiple projects with ease.
