Working for an award-winning design and manufacturing business on a defence facility. Supporting the site including; offices, production areas, design areas, laboratories, stores, car park and grounds.
Maintenance Technician:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, with aid of external contractors
- Replace faulty components or parts as needed, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental Ovens and plates with aid of external contractors
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Liaise with external contractors - plumbers, joiners, gas/electricians and spe,cialist engineers etc.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Assist with contractor liaison.
- Support and recommend improvements for Site facilities.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
Required Experience:
- Site Maintenance Technician (experience within a facilities maintenance dept.)
- Experience of maintenance of sites e.g. schools, hospitals, engineering, manufacturing sites etc.
- A competent handyman/person
- Holds a full UK driving licence
