Job Title: Facilities Co-ordinator Location: West Yorkshire Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Facilities Co-ordinator for a Further Education College to support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Co-ordinator to their our team. As a Facilities Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the college's buildings and facilities. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supporting the delivery of high-quality learning environments. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the general upkeep, maintenance, and security of college facilities. - Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, and service contracts. - Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, including risk assessments and compliance checks. - Manage schedules for routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing. - Act as the first point of contact for any facilities-related queries or issues. - Support in space planning and utilisation to ensure optimal use of resources. - Assist with setting up rooms and facilities for events and examinations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and health & safety documentation. - Monitor energy usage and support sustainability initiatives across the campus. About You: We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all college users. Essential Skills & Experience: - Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance coordination, or a similar role. - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and facilities management software. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: - Relevant qualifications in facilities management, health & safety, or a related field. - Experience working in an educational environment.
