Location: Predominantly West Yorkshire, with scope for North YorkshireRate: Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella)About Us:We have partnered with a housing association in West Yorkshire, currently seeking an experienced and proactive Interim Surveyor to support their repairs and maintenance team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting property inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Preparing detailed reports and schedules of work required.
  • Managing and overseeing contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaising with residents to address their concerns and provide updates on repair progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, works, and communications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
