Class 1 Day and Night Driver- Permanent Role

Starting Monday 25th November 2024:

Job Spec: -

• 45 hour contract
• Rotating shifts (days and nights)
• Night trunk runs from Leeds site to Dartford on alternating weekly shifts.
• You will be asked to set off at around Midnight to get to Dartford by around 5am and back in Leeds by around 11am.
• Day runs will be asked to help with the day delivery runs which tend to average around 5 drops and take around 8 hours
• When doing the night trunk runs you will primarily be driving an artic. When doing the day runs you will usually be in a class 2 vehicle.

Driver to swap over on a Thursday so you can effectively do two nights on the trunk one week then three nights the following week. When one of the other drivers is on holiday you will do 4 nights in a week to provide cover.

You will be given a full days rest between doing the night run and swapping over to the day run. You will never do more than four days/nights driving in a week.

You can get lots of additional holiday during quiet periods of the year when company wont require you to help with the day runs.

• Salary once perm: £36,500

Requirements: -

• Cat CE licence
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• Must have a minimum of 12 months on licence
