Class 2 Driver

Maze Recruitment Group are looking to recruit multiple Class 2 Drivers for our well established client on a permanet basis. The Class 2 Driver willdeliver products to customers in a designated area while ensuring safety and friendliness. You will be responsible for the maintenance and care of your assigned vehicle, as well as providing exceptional customer service to each client.
Main Duties
- Prepare the vehicle by performing operator maintenance checks and verifying that all delivery items are accurate and loaded securely.
- Complete delivery notes, return sheets, and collect payments as required.
- Fulfill special customer requests by picking up and delivering items as indicated on the delivery note.
- Maintain customer trust by keeping all information regarding premises security and operational details confidential.
- Review run sheets, picked orders, and delivery routing for accuracy.
- Plan delivery routes and requirements by reviewing the schedule and any customer requests noted on the delivery documentation.
- Inform customers of any stock shortages or issues related to their delivery.
- Ensure all returns are returned, stored properly in theyard, and unloaded appropriately.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Complete all necessary checks and submit check sheets to the distribution manager.
- Assist in the warehouse when needed.
- Present yourself professionally by wearing the appropriate PPE/uniform at all times.
- Engage in physical tasks and manual handling as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Familiarity with safe driving practices and habits
- Possession of the appropriate driving license for the vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
Additional Information
- Working hours: 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
