My client is seeking a permanent HGV 2 driver to join their freight forwarding team responsible for delivering palletised freight across the UK.
Candidates must hold a valid HGV 2 licence, CPC, and tacho card, along with prior experience driving a 26-ton vehicle.
The role requires the ability to do overnight trips, potentially up to two times per week.
Ideal candidates should be over 25 years old, hold an ADR licence, and have no more than six minor points on their driving record.
The position offers a contracted 42.5 hours per week with a typical start time of 07:30 Monday to Friday, and a salary of £30,000 per year.

My client is looking for a permanent member to join their team of HGV 2 drivers

As a freight forwarding Company you will be responsible for delivering freight around the UK.

It is all palletised work so no handball will be involved, you will use a pallet truck.

You must be able to do overnights if required (possible 2 per week)

The ideal candidate must:

Hold a HGV 2 licence, cpc and tacho card

Have previous driving experience of a 26 ton vehicle

Ideally:

You will hold a ADR licence

Be aged over 25 years

Have no more than 6 minor points

Contracted hours 42.5 per week

Typical start time 0730 Monday to Friday however this may differ

Salary £30k per year
