The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in the Leeds area.
The position offers a pay rate of £14.61 per hour PAYE, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 05:30am to 3:15pm.
Candidates should have a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement and ideally 2 years of driving experience, though those with less experience may be considered.
Additional requirements include a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, no more than 6 points on the licence, and a strong understanding of WTD legislation.
Experience with refrigeration is beneficial, and excellent communication skills along with a safety-first mindset are essential for the role.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leeds area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 3:15pm

Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour PAYE

Location: Leeds, LS25

Job Type: Temp to Perm

The role:

. Safely operating the Class 2 Vehicle and performing vehicle checks at the start of shift

. Order picking and cross checking of products including temperature checks

. Delivering to bakeries, butchers, cake & farm shops in the North of England

. Dealing with product returns

. Refrigeration experience would be beneficial

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

. 2 years experience ideally but open to drivers will less experience

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
