Night Van Driver needed
SureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit Night Van Driver, for our client based in Leeds Our client is a well-established producer of fresh top-quality sandwiches, wraps and salads.
This is a temporary position, with the possibility of being made permanent for the right candidate
Responsibilities and Duties of Night Van Driver
- Safely and efficiently operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while driving and ensure the van is well-maintained and in proper working condition.
- Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and deliveries, and promptly report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate authorities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules, handle any changes or delays, and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
FULL UK clean driving license required.
Shift times for Night Van Driver are:
- Early morning start 2am
- Nights (Sunday- Thursday)
- Finish 10am/12noon
- Term time only
- Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rates for Night Van Driver:
- 11.94/ hour
