Is This Role For You?
- Do you have experience in high-quality and volume food production?
- Are you skilled at supervising and motivating a team to ensure efficient service?
- Can you adhere to food safety policies and manage kitchen operations effectively?
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, display, and service of food items, following safety policies and production plans.
- Work with the team to prepare and present food for menus, functions, and outside catering.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ensure efficient service and high standards.
- Lead food production, meeting customer requirements and maintaining quality.
- Manage stock rotation and control and ensure accurate recording of goods.
- Oversee cleanliness, food temperatures, and equipment maintenance to meet organizational standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 3 Certificate in Food Safety, or equivalent.
