Here at Reed, we are now looking to build a bank of chefs who can support in local authority.

The post would be as a CHEF in an Adult Social Care Kitchen, or a residential home, Recovery Hub, or an Extra Care Housing unit or schools or care homes within the Leeds Area on an ongoing temp basis 

The hours would be dependent on the unit, 7.30-4.30, 7.30-5.00, 8.00-5.00. Usually, 8 hours with a 1-hour unpaid break, a total of 9 hours in the unit, but paid for 8 (lunch break)

Pay rate is £14 per hour 

The days could be a single day, a few days, or a week, it depends on what we require and when.Cooking traditional style food, home style baking, to include a cooked breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, and evening meal, and supper which is usually left ready for the Care team to distribute

You will needA DBS will be required with them working in places with vulnerable people, Basic Food Hygiene A QCF/, NVQ, qualification, or equivalent, in Catering/HospitalityExperience as a Chef and an understanding of the delivery of catering services
