We're looking for a proactive and dedicated IT Service Lead (1st/2nd Line) to lead my family-owned B2B specialist supplier client based in Leeds, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and eventually step into the role of IT Manager.

Our Client is keen to see someone grow into this role - This is a new created position and they are seeking for someone to eventually step into the role of an IT Service Lead that role will entail:

  • Oversee daily operations of the IT department
  • Develop strategy as it relates to the organisation's IT infrastructure
  • Manage and report on allocation of IT budget
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff members
  • Evaluate and implement IT software, hardware and systems
  • Maintain security of all data and IT systems within the company
  • Coordinate IT activities to ensure data accuracy and network operations are maintained
  • Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, and support cost-effective technology solutions

Full training is provided in this role with the opportunity to step into a Leadership role as well as obtain qualifications.

Profile

A successful IT Service Lead (1st/2nd Line) should have:Essential:

  • Strong 1st/2nd Line experience
  • Proficiency in IT systems and infrastructure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Drive, ambitious and a thirst for knowledge
  • Adaptable and feels comfortable working independently
  • Strong Leadership capability

Desirable:

  • Expertise in project management
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and IT budgeting
  • Exceptional organisational and strategic planning skills
