Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

  • Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for mechanical handling related equipment such as conveyors, chains, sprockets, valves, lubrication, and similar products / systems.
  • Maintainingmechanical handling product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements.
  • Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, food, biomass waste / power generation and more
  • Work remotely/ field-basedcovering North of the UK and Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.


Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similarwithin a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical handling related equipment / MRO products such as conveyors, chains, sprockets, valves, lubrication, bearings, motors, gearboxes and similar products / systems is highly desirable, however having sold similar mechanical products into related industries is also of interest.
  • Candidates with proven sales experience in industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, food, biomass waste / power generation are strongly advised to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of the UK, including Scotland.
