With 25 years of experience in supplying and fitting a wide range of driver safety, vehicle & fleet monitoring / tracking, protection, as well as other products into the commercial fleet / HGV industry, my client is looking to expand their Sales team with an experienced Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager will be reporting directly into the Sales Director and will be responsible for forging relationships with leading Fleet operators. My client is looking for someone who has firsthand knowledge of the fleet industry in particular HGV vehicles and have worked in the safety equipment of fleet technology sector previously.

Business Development Manager package / benefits

Experience and responsibilities

  • Strong business development mindset and experience
  • Firsthand knowledge of the fleet industry in particular HGV vehicles and products
  • Setting up, attending and documenting customer meetings offering a consultative approach to their needs and requirements
  • Producing and management of customer quotes and orders
  • Performing in line with set targets and objectives
  • Attending monthly internal sales meetings
  • Attending trade shows and other industry related events

This Business Development Manager opportunity would be well suited to a driven and performance motivated individual who has a consultative and engaging approach to sales. You will already have a proven track record in the industry and be looking to join a progressive business that offers good prospects.
