OverviewMy client is part of a progressive Company Group with a portfolio of companies across the UK that specialise in providing fluid power solutions to a wide range of industries.

Our client are a market-leading distributor and manufacturer of sealing products to industry and supply a wide range of market sectors throughout the UK & Ireland.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager and Group MD they are looking to enhance their position in the UK & Ireland markets with a driven Business Development Manager.he successful candidate will need to be able to deliver the sales growth initiative for a broad basket of products related to seals.

You will need to be an experienced, results-driven professional with demonstrable knowledge of mechanical seals, or similar, and a proven sales background.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Create and implement strategic business development plans that align with company goals.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company and build professional connections.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business development or sales management, preferably in/around mechanical seals products
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that drive business growth.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
