POST- recruitment are recruiting a Business Development Manager for a fantastic sustainability business that has grown from start up to growth phase.

This newly created sales role has everything, fantastic bespoke product, bonus scheme, hybrid working and knowlagable, respected colleagues.

As an BDM, you’ll take ownership of key responsibilities, including:

  • Driving Sales Conversion: Work with marketing-driven leads, guiding them from the initial inquiry to deal closure, ensuring an efficient and effective sales process.
  • Sales Process Coordination: Act as the central link between sales, marketing, and client teams, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • CRM development: Manage and maintain our CRM system, keeping lead details up to date to ensure accurate reporting and team visibility.
  • Performance Reporting: Analyze lead activity, pipeline progress, and sales performance metrics to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to create tailored sales content and materials for every stage of the funnel, empowering client teams with the tools they need to succeed.
  • Industry Insights: Provide feedback on emerging industry trends to help refine marketing strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations: Craft and deliver compelling presentations for client pitches and industry events.
  • Client Engagement: Be the trusted point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through their decision-making journey to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of proven sales experience, ideally engaging with C-suite executives and delivering tangible value to clients.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business priorities, with a knack for identifying opportunities and making data-driven decisions that drive revenue.
  • Exceptional Communication: Clear, persuasive, and engaging in every interaction—whether it’s presenting to clients or collaborating with teams.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools and strong data management skills.
  • Relationship Builder: Adept at connecting with people and fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
