We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a Fire & Security business based in Leeds. The company is well established, busy and has a fantastic installation team to support any new client wins.There’s a lot of flexibility in this role in terms of geography and client base, as long as it's a commercial installation. You’ll have free reign to utilise your existing contacts along with managing some of their key accounts. This role is a mixture of new business, lapsed clients and existing accounts. There is an option to work with end users or contractors, depending on your experience.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of either fire, security systems or CCTV and sales. We would also be happy to discuss this opportunity with engineers who are looking for a change. Main duties to include:
  • Managing and liaising with contractors and architects to ensure repeat business
  • Sourcing new leads and booking meetings
  • Attend meetings either over Teams or in person, with the aim of selling the company’s products
  • Agree pricing and present to customers
  • Liaise with project managers and utilise their support to successfully onboard new customers
  • Liaise with design team to ensure specifications meet customer requirements
We are looking for:
  • Experience of working in the first & security industry
  • Either working experience in a sales role or someone who has exceptional industry knowledge and is looking to take a step into a sales role
  • A great relationship builder with a consultative approach
  • Someone who is resilient and strives to win new business
  • A driven and ambitious individual
