Business Development Manager - Construction TyresBasic Salary £40,000 - £45,000, OTE £12k + carCovering the North England and ScotlandMy client is a market leading supplier and repairer of tyres specifically for construction and agricultural plant vehicles. Due to continued growth and success they are looking for a business development manager to cover the North and Scotland. If you have experience selling into construction or working within the tyre sector already this could be a great opportunity, as long as you have some basic understanding of the market and great relationship building skills we want to hear from you!The Role:

  • Selling the service of repair and replacement of tyres for plant and other heavy vehicles, specifically for the construction and agricultural sector.
  • Covering the North and Scotland
  • It's a mix of new business and growth from existing customers with quite high activity as there are a lot of potential growth opportunities on the patch where customers use more than one supplier.
  • It's a home based position with visits to the Midlands head office around once a month

The Person:

  • We're looking for someone who either has experience selling tyres or working within the tyres industry but wants to move into sales. Alternatively you could have sold into the construction sector but a different type of product. We would also consider someone who has worked in an internal sales role, potentially within plant hire or similar, looking for a field based sales role.
  • Great communication skills are essential as well as the ability to build relationships quickly
  • You'll be a great area planner, able to manage your time and ensure all potential and existing customers are met without excessive travel across areas of your patch

The Package:

  • A basic salary between £40,000 and £45,000 is offered depending on experience
  • The OTE is £12k on top of salary for achievement of target and there is an extra £6k available for a stretch target
  • A company vehicle is provided which is a Ford Ranger with fuel card
