BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER NORTHERN ENGLAND - REMOTE UP TO £45,000 DOE PLUS BONUS

Our client is a global travel tech leader, celebrated for innovation and award-winning solutions. Their platform connects 100’s of global travel suppliers to travel agencies and tour operators—making it easier for both to work smarter together for the benefit of the traveller.
Essential for this role is experience working within the travel industry in a business development role driving brand awareness across agency and operator networks.
Job Description:
In this role, you will grow the business by securing and managing B2B travel partnerships, reactivating clients, and travelling within your region to strengthen market presence.
- Identify and pursue new B2B travel partners through proactive lead generation
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue and market growth
- Conduct market research to uncover trends and expansion opportunities
- Analyse competitor offerings to refine business development strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporates, and channel partners
- Present tailored travel solutions to prospective clients to meet their specific needs
- Manage contract negotiations and oversee seamless client onboarding
- Support new clients with training and guidance on using the TBO platform
- Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure service excellence
- Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and provide data-driven insights to optimise performance
Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in the travel industry in a business development role
- Proven record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Good understanding of travel systems and platforms
- Strong consultative sales and client management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Skilled in contract negotiation
- Able to analyse data and apply insights
- Confident using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
