Business Development Manager – North Region

We are working with one of the largest and most successful MGA’s in the UK. Given the significant growth they have achieved and the level of interest in them and the products they sell, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to cover the North region but work entirely remotely. Be in complete control of your own diary, plan your week and remove the daily commute to and from the office.

This award winning business controls in excess of £100m GWP and operates across the country employing some exceptional talent.

The Candidate

  • You will be an experienced and successful relationship manager already operating in the commercial insurance sector.
  • You may come from and Insurer background or may be an MGA/MGU background.
  • You will have a presence in the market already from your successful career and a track record of delivering above target results.
  • Exceptional service to customers is what you are about and you are not afraid to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • You will have an extensive list of key contacts within the world of Broking who can rely on to help and support you as you build your new career.

The Role

  • You will manage a panel of key strategic brokers and ensure that we are delivering in line with their expectations.
  • You will utilise and regularly review broker business plans to agree delivery by both parties.
  • You will take ownership of issues and liaise with the wider team to find innovative solutions
  • You will report into the Regional Director and support them in running a strong distribution function in the North.
  • Develop and embed an innovative approach to business development, promoting sales growth through new channels and new products in addition to traditional distribution routes.
