Are you an experienced professional in the waterproofing and roofing sector of the construction industry? Do you thrive on building strong client relationships and have a knack for securing new business opportunities? If so, we have an exciting new role that could be perfect for you! Our client are a leading UK specialist in independent testing, validation, and verification of systems. With a strong reputation in the industry, they've recently expanded into waterproofing of roofing. They're now looking for a dynamic individual to help grow this new area of the business.

As the new Field Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the waterproofing and roofing division. This is a newly created position, offering the right candidate the opportunity to shape the role and drive their expansion in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across the UK
  • Visit clients and potential clients to secure projects
  • Engage with key decision-makers in the industry
  • Attend industry events to network and represent our company
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to follow up on leads
  • Develop and implement business development strategies
  • Work closely with our Projects Director and other support divisions

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record in the UK waterproofing/roofing/construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of waterproofing and roofing systems
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen
  • Full clean driving license (held for at least one year) and comfortable with frequent travel

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Roofing NVQ2 or Level 2 Diploma in Roofing Occupations
  • CSSW certification
  • NFRC qualification
  • CSCS Blue Card
  • Experience with Buckleys & Leister equipment
