Our client, a premium hospitality brand with a very strong brand and presence across the UK, is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their wider marketing function. You will be based at the flagship branch in Leeds, working a hybrid model, reporting directly to the Marketing Director. Your role will have a range of responsibilities, associated with driving marketing campaigns and branding within regions across the UK. You will conduct research and be involved with networking with Journalists and Social Media Influencers in a variety of geographical markets, with a view to driving business opportunities through networking and establishing long lasting corporate relationships. The overall aim is to continually drive the brands forward and represent the brand in a very true way.
This role will involve travel across the UK to the different regions, integrating with key journalists and influencers with a view to understanding the differing geographical landscapes. This is a hands-on marketing leadership role in which you will lead a team of four. The Marketing Director is incredibly supportive but also offers a fantastic degree of autonomy within this role. We are looking for a highly skilled Marketing Manager with experience gained within the hospitality sector to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a small marketing team, driving quality and being that 'go to' daily contact for leadership and support.
- Responsible for creating bespoke marketing strategies, tailored to each location's unique customer base and local market dynamics.
- Regularly visit restaurants to gather insight, network and understand how to maximise each location.
- Communicating and building relationships with journalists, social media influencers to drive brand awareness.
- Being proactive in implementing new effective marketing campaigns related to the brands involving outreach to Universities and other organisations.
- Plan and oversee on-site events, including new restaurant launches, promotional activities, and special events.
- You will focus on being a true ambassador for the brand, ensuring consistent communication of the business values, mission, and vision.
- Extensive relationship building with all stakeholders including external agencies.
- Design and execute local marketing campaigns that engage the surrounding communities and build brand loyalty.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and events, conducting extensive post event analysis and making recommendations for improvements and changes.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 4+ years gained working within a Marketing role, ideally at management level with experience in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- You will have a strong understanding of current industry trends and you will have the ability to create compelling, engaging marketing content.
- A creative, entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and results driven with natural leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills and an eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel for restaurant visits and events as required with some overnight stays.
