- Promoting initiatives to potential members
- Offer guidance to members and non-members about their professional development.
- Advise employers on how they can support the professional development of their teams.
- Support Further Education and Higher Education students by providing advice on membership and career pathways.
- Ensure membership records are accurate and up to date.
- This role may require occasional evening or weekend work.
- You’ll be required to attend team meetings across North England, as well as meetings at our Head Office in London when needed.
- We’re looking for someone with a background in civil engineering, customer service, learning & development, or a related field. A degree-level qualification is essential and a broad knowledge of civil engineering would be a bonus.
- Previous experience in business development is helpful but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, including experience with presenting in person and virtually (e.g. via MS Teams).
- £38,850 PA FTE, paid pro-rata for 3 days/week
- £4K car allowance, paid pro-rata
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown
- 8% contributory pension
