Are you an experienced senior Sales professional with a technical background and experience in selling high value technical capital equipment looking for progression and development where you can have uncapped earning potential?

On offer is a technical sales role where you will provide a consultative approach recommending the best equipment that a customer needs to buy to solve their problem and improve productivity.

This company specialise in the manufacture and commissioning of electric and hydraulic press brake and shears for sheet metal. They have been established for over 80 years and have a high multi-million turnover.

This role would suit an experience technical salesperson from an OEM background who is an organised self-started ambitious to progress their career, the role is covering the North of the UK.

THE ROLE:

  • Negotiating prices within predetermined margins and concluding sales contracts.
  • Initiating activities to get in touch with potential customers.
  • Realising the commercial targets for the assigned area.
  • Maintaining contacts with customers.
  • Making an inventory of the (technical) requirements, wishes, needs and problems of customers and prospects and carrying out market and competition analysis.
  • Keeping abreast of the market situation with regard to developments, prices and competition.
  • Liaising with colleagues in various departments, including Sales and Product Management.
  • Preparing quotations and order confirmations.

THE PERSON:

  • Technical Sales background within an OEM environment
  • Demonstrable technical sales track record
