Our client is one of Canada’s largest privately held restaurant companies. The business is growing its franchise network of quick service restaurants internationally, and having recently launched here in the UK, we are seeking a Regional Operations & Marketing Manager who will play a dual role in delivering operational excellence and brand standards, with the aim of shaping and developing growth across the UK franchise network. Our client has an ambitious growth strategy, so this individual will directly influence the direction and success of the company as it continues to expand across the UK.

  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Remote - UK (National)

Key Responsibilities

Training & Operations:

  • Lead training programmes for franchise units and coaching/development of Corporate Store Managers to ensure compliance in line with brand standards.
  • Develop and implement action plans for non-compliance, conduct field audits and follow up to resolve concerns promptly.
  • Provide business consulting advice to franchisees to develop annual sales, marketing and financial plans to support business growth.
  • Monitor new restaurant construction to ensure opening timelines are met.
  • Lead regional events - manage content, logistics and execute with the support of internal departments.
  • Collaborate with the Franchise Expansion team to identify new market opportunities and assist with franchisee recruitment.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies (including health & safety standards), ensuring a safe and compliant environment across all locations.

Regional Marketing:

  • Plan, develop and execute regional marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive regional sales.
  • Act as the primary contact between the centralised marketing team and local franchisees, providing regional insights for local promotions.
  • Identify opportunities for local and regional marketing, including mass media (radio & print), digital (social media) and community engagement, including soft and grand openings.
  • Track and measure marketing campaigns, ensuring ROI.
  • Support franchisees in developing Local Community Marketing plans, providing tools, templates and best practices.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience within quick service restaurant operations, preferably within a franchise business model.
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing or events management, with a proven track record of driving regional sales and brand growth.
  • A strong ability to present and speak publicly, capable of conducting workshops and training sessions to large groups.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate with key internal stakeholders and experienced franchise owners.
  • Financial analysis expertise, able to evaluate P&L statements, balance sheets and other financial performance indicators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and proactive mindset, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.
  • A clean UK driving licence with a willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays as required.
  • A related qualification in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field would be desired.
  • Please note that occasional long hours, weekend work and overnight travel may be required.
