PERMANENT JOB :- No Part Time / Student Options

We are looking for an experienced regional sales manager who knows a CMM from a micrometer and knows there way around precision microscopy equipment.

This permanent role is an amazing to join an established company that is one of the top manufacturers in their field. You will have access to a state of the art head office with a fantastic support team.

The focus of this role is to be on the roads visiting new and existing customers developing your customer base across the north of the UK.

What will you be doing?

  • Your main focus will be on direct to customer sales, with the ability to sell through distributors
  • You will be responsible for the full life cycle of the sales process from the warm enquiry to payment and following on with account management.
  • You will be responsible for showcasing the technical aspects of the products to prospective clients. You will have to carry machines to and from client premises.
  • Have your hand in marketing collaborating with the marking and product management departments.

You won't be doing this alone, you will have admin, estimator & technical support, along with an internal BD team to provide you with warm qualified leads.

You will have a company car from day 1, with the view to get meetings booked and get out on the roads to see those customers (after your initial training).

What is needed from you?

  • At least 5 years' experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of microscopy or precision inspection equipment.
  • A full UK driving licence is a must for this.

For this role we are only looking for candidates based in the M62 corridor region due to the area covered.
