Our client is an established UK manufacturer, currently recruiting a Sales Manager within the Mining & Aggregates industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the vision, goals, and plans for the UK Mining & Aggregate segment. They will analyse market trends, customer needs, competitive threats, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Sales Manager (Mining & Aggregate) - Responsibilities

  • To understand the changing needs of Mining & Aggregate customers. Identifying opportunities to sell, upsell, and cross sell into the industry.
  • Focus on maintaining and strengthening existing key customer relationships whilst working to acquire new business to meet company growth expectations.
  • Attend onsite and online meetings with prospects and customers to sell the benefits of our client’s solution, over competitors in the market. Outlining our client’s business values that differentiate them from their competitors.
  • Promote our client’s to customers’ by leveraging your understanding of their business and how our client’s solution can help to achieve customer goals.
  • To accurately manage sales forecasts through the sales process, maximising opportunities to increase order value and profitability. Being accountable for sales conversions for your accounts - won and lost sales.
  • Accountable for revenue and quotation targets. Responsible for identifying the lifetime value of all accounts and both short- and long-term opportunities.
  • To meet revenue expectations through consistent and high-quality sales activities.

Sales Manager (Mining & Aggregate) - Candidate

  • Experienced selling mechanical / engineering related products / solutions.
  • Mining & Aggregate industry knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets!
  • Consultative Sales Experience in a B2B environment required.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to present business ideas to internal or external teams.

The Sales Manager (Mining & Aggregate) position is offering £40,000 - £60,000 basic salary plus car allowance, bonus & other great benefits!
