An innovate energy management consultancy providing bespoke energy efficiency control solutions and renewable technologies to assist businesses in realising the operational, environmental and financial benefits of carbon reduction.

Our client is now seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join the team and help drive new business promoting their range of energy efficiency solutions including IoT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with C-Level executives.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial client engagement to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of energy and cloud-based solutions.
  • Previous experience selling solutions to businesses across the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sector would be an advantage.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Key Skills:

  • Proven new business developer with experience selling either energy efficient construction products OR the use of IT Technology aimed at helping clients achieve carbon neutrality.
  • Strong B2B background with an established C-Level network.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the energy market, including key trends and challenges.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
