Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with key grocery accounts
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Product Placement: Ensure optimal placement and promotion of our products in retail outlets.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and promotional activities with grocery retailers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and account activities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to grocery accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in national account management within the food and beverage industry, preferably with a focus on grocery accounts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the grocery retail environment and consumer trends in the food industry.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
