This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with proven leadership skills to take charge of end-to-end SEO campaigns, drive strategic growth, and mentor a team. As SEO Manager, you will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring that all SEO activities align with their goals while optimising performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SEO Strategy: Take ownership of the end-to-end SEO strategy for your client portfolio, collaborating with Technical, Content, and DPR teams to deliver results that align with client objectives.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Lead and coordinate activities across Technical, Content, and DPR teams, ensuring that all SEO efforts are aligned with your strategy and deliver measurable ROI for clients.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use in-depth, data-driven analysis to design and implement SEO solutions that maximise performance for your clients, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Strategy AD to ensure SEO strategies align with client goals and provide regular updates on key developments, keeping the team informed of any changes in direction.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage SEO activities to ensure timely delivery, maintain alignment with commercials, burn rates, and SLAs, and drive results that meet both client expectations and internal goals.
  • Quality Assurance & Best Practices: Ensure high-quality delivery of SEO services, adhering to best practices, QA processes, and maintaining a consistent, branded experience for clients.
  • Client Reporting & Insights: Lead client reporting, providing actionable insights on SEO performance, progress against the strategic roadmap, and any opportunities for improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships, and leading meetings to discuss strategy, performance, and opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of executives, conducting regular feedback sessions, performance reviews, and supporting their professional growth with clear development plans.
  • Feedback & Development: Provide actionable feedback to the team on work delivered by AEs, ensuring high standards and aiding in their career progression.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements and refine SEO workflows to drive operational efficiency and elevate the quality of service provided to clients.
  • Growth Opportunities: Work closely with the client service team to identify upsell opportunities and expand SEO activity across emerging digital channels.
  • Internal & External Reporting: Keep both internal and external stakeholders informed on client progress, while staying up-to-date on the latest digital trends and opportunities.
  • Support New Business: Provide insights and research for new business pitches, helping to drive future growth for the agency.
  • Invoicing & Profitability Management: Oversee invoicing and time management systems, ensuring time allocation to each campaign is accurate, auditable, and billed correctly. Collaborate with your line manager to monitor client profitability and ensure sustainable growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in managing and executing SEO strategies with a strong focus on delivering measurable results for clients.
  • Expertise in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead client meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A data-driven, strategic mindset with a focus on optimising SEO performance and achieving client objectives.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and SLAs, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
