RT18 - Civils & Infrastructure Design EngineerSalary: £45,000 - £52,000 Per annum, Dependent on experienceLocation: LeedsOverview:First Military Recruitment are seeking a Civil & Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of one of our prestigious clientsPotential candidates will be required to have experience in a similar practice. You will be Chartered or working towards Chartered status and will be supported to achieve this. You can expect to be managing several projects at any one time with support, in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communication skills are essential.Projects include flood-alleviation works and SUDS schemes, as well as Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy documents for Planning.Apprentice level applicants will also be considered for this role for a revised salary.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a number of projects at any one time in a fast-moving environment
- Large scale flood-alleviation works
- Estate roads and drainage works
- SUDS schemes
- Carry out Flood Risk Assessments
- Prepare Drainage Strategy documents for Planning
Skills & Qualifications:
- Road and sewer design to adoptable standards.
- Surface water / foul water underground drainage design.
- Flood risk assessments / flood alleviation schemes.
- Coastal erosion flood breach analysis.
- Attenuation and discharge control systems.
- SUDS / swales / soakaway design / infiltration basins.
- Access and estate roads. S278 agreements.
- Competence with Site3D / Micro drainage.
