Graduate Structural Engineer (Steel)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Mon-Fri + Flexible hours + Day Shift + Training + Progression + Company Bonus

Are you degree educated in Mechanical or Structural Engineering? Are you looking for a fully design based position with a well-established, family-run business who will provide extensive training on various programs and progression opportunities that will see you move throughout the company into senior roles?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and growing business specialising in structural steel projects with clients ranging from housing to big commercial projects. They are committed to provide high standards of service to their customers whilst keeping it budget friendly. They are looking for graduates to join their friendly team to help them sustain their period of growth.

In this role you will be responsible for communicating with clients and liaising estimators during the whole life cycle of each project. You will also be in charge of making structural designs with CAD packages as well as reviewing requirements with the Director. You will also be required to go to sites to oversee the progress and report activities.

This role would suit a Mechanical or Structural Engineering graduate, looking to start their career within a tight-knit company who will provide plenty of training and progression opportunities in a comprehensive design based position where you will work on various high profile projects.

The Role:

  • Design steel structural projects using Tekla and other CAD packages
  • Liaising with stakeholders and customers from start to completion of projects
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, flexible hours

The Person:

  • Mechanical or Structural Engineering Graduate or similar
  • Looking for a design based position
  • Commutable to Bramley, Leeds
