Location: Leeds

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + £6,000 car allowance

Holiday: 24 days + bank holidays

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a thriving M&E contracting company that is expanding its team. They are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee and deliver projects up to £5 million mechanically.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with main contractors and end clients on projects across the retail, education, and commercial building services sectors. With long-standing framework agreements and strong client relationships, the company offers a stable and growing order book.

 

The Role

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will:

  • Manage the delivery of mechanical projects up to £5m.
  • Work closely with main contractors, end clients, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Oversee self-delivered works and subcontracted packages.
  • Report directly to the Senior Contracts Manager.

 

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • HNC or HND in Building Services (preferred) OR a time-served mechanical apprenticeship.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong time management and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
