Are you a passionate Principal Civil Engineer eager to lead cutting-edge water projects? We’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity in Leeds where you’ll spearhead innovative water projects that make a real difference for communities and the environment.

As part of a rapidly growing company, you’ll have the chance to lead the design and execution of landmark projects with national impact. Our Water division is at the forefront of tackling the UK’s most iconic water challenges, partnering with top water authorities to drive change and sustainability.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the civil engineering design for water projects, from concept to detailed design
  • Collaborate with project design leads to ensure successful project delivery
  • Take responsibility for mentoring and guiding the civil engineering team on each project
  • Work on projects across multiple sectors, including clean water treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

You’ll also contribute to award-winning initiatives like Hull and East Riding’s Living with Water partnership and projects like the Clifton Integrated Constructed Wetland. In addition to working on projects in Yorkshire, you’ll have the chance to work on projects across the UK, Ireland, and globally.

About You
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject), ideally with Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE, CIWEM). Support will be provided if you are working towards this.
  • Passionate about the water and environment sector, and enthusiastic about mentoring developing engineers
  • Experienced in successful project delivery and collaborating with teams to create innovative solutions
  • Strong client-facing experience, regularly leading client engagement and fostering collaboration
