Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team and work on capital projects within the Water, Chemical, and Energy sectors. We welcome applicants with a background in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all project phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Mechanical Engineering Focus:

  • Design and select pump systems, with a strong understanding of fluid control and dynamics.
  • Analyze pump selections and design gas systems and piping.
  • Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.
  • Utilize Autodesk CAD, Solidworks, or Revit for design purposes.
  • Develop design schedules and specifications.

Electrical Engineering Focus:

  • Develop software User Requirement Specifications (URS).
  • Create electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams, including Load and Instrument.
  • Utilize AMTECH for electrical design and ensure compliance with WIMES.
  • Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.
  • Ideally possess site installation or commissioning experience.
  • Utilize 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes.
  • Apply knowledge of process safety and hazardous areas.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree, HND, or HNC.
  • Extensive knowledge of the project delivery process.
  • Experience in health and safety management.

Location & Flexibility:

  • Primarily office-based in Leeds, with required travel to construction sites.
  • Opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
