Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team and work on capital projects within the Water, Chemical, and Energy sectors. We welcome applicants with a background in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all project phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Mechanical Engineering Focus:
- Design and select pump systems, with a strong understanding of fluid control and dynamics.
- Analyze pump selections and design gas systems and piping.
- Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.
- Utilize Autodesk CAD, Solidworks, or Revit for design purposes.
- Develop design schedules and specifications.
Electrical Engineering Focus:
- Develop software User Requirement Specifications (URS).
- Create electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams, including Load and Instrument.
- Utilize AMTECH for electrical design and ensure compliance with WIMES.
- Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.
- Ideally possess site installation or commissioning experience.
- Utilize 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes.
- Apply knowledge of process safety and hazardous areas.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree, HND, or HNC.
- Extensive knowledge of the project delivery process.
- Experience in health and safety management.
Location & Flexibility:
- Primarily office-based in Leeds, with required travel to construction sites.
