Role: Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant
Location: Leeds
My Client, a UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy, based in Leeds, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their specialist team.
Candidates are required to have a MSc and BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Hydrology or GIS and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
Candidates are required to be confident individuals to manage projects and mentor team members. A valid driving licence is also essential for site visits and Client meetings.
It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using Causeway Flow and/or Microdrainage.
This exciting Senior Flood Risk and Drainage opportunity will offer you the chance to join and complete varied Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, Private Healthcare and Housing Developers. Projects will span residential, commercial, retail, restaurants, mixed-used development projects, hospitals, healthcare and schools.
You will be required to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
-Drainage Design.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Project Management and Client meetings to discuss project development and to develop new business opportunities.
You will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week to mentor team members.
