The role:
As a Senior Tekla Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our structural engineering projects, utilisng your expertise in Tekla Structures software to produce accurate and detailed structural drawings and models. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and design teams, contributing your technical proficiency to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
路Utilise Tekla Structures software to create detailed structural models and drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
路Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and refine structural designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
路Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, assisting with training and development as needed.
路Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Tekla software, incorporating new techniques and best practices into our workflow to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
路Bachelor's degree/ HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
路Extensive experience working with Tekla Structures software, with a proven track record of producing high-quality structural models and drawings.
路Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
路Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
路Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
路Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
