Site Engineer – Yorkshire
I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an engineering background to join our team as a Site Engineer in the water sector, primarily focusing on infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in engineering or construction, looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate setting out and surveying on construction sites, ensuring all works align with the latest construction drawings.
• Ensure all construction activities meet the required quality standards in accordance with relevant specifications and drawings.
• Uphold and enforce strict safety, health, and environmental standards, ensuring that all site operations are conducted without harm.
• Deliver comprehensive site inductions to new personnel and conduct daily briefings to keep the site team informed and aligned.
• Manage daily site operations, including overseeing site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
• Ensure all site-related documents, including attendance sheets, progress photographs, and as-built information, are accurately completed and submitted to the head office.
• Conduct thorough checks on all deliveries and maintain detailed records of site progress, including pre-start, ongoing, and completion photographs.
• Assist with any additional tasks as required to support the successful completion of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and specifications relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for project documentation and communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with the site team and other stakeholders.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive working relationships on-site.
• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
• CSCS Site Supervisor's Card
• NVQ Level 3 Construction Supervisor
• Temporary Works Supervisor
• New Roads and Street Works Act (NRASWA) Supervisor
• First Aid Certificate
• Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential for this role.
