North England (Field Based Role)

40,000 - 45,000 + Enhanced Pension + Van + Overtime + Autonomy

Are you a mechanical engineer with experience servicing and mounting mechanical drive components - this field-based role will give you the work autonomy you are looking for.

The company is a multi-national supplier of technology and services within the feed and biofuel industry. They have developed a robust reputation within the market by offering an extensive range of feed and biofuel-related services and equipment, increasing their need for a new Site Services Engineer to offer a brilliant service to their clients.

In this role, the successful candidate will be working remotely across the UK producing and completing proactive maintenance of equipment based on customer sites to resolve any issues in the production of feed or biofuels.

The ideal candidate will ideally come from a feed mill, biofuel, or heavy industrial background and will have experience in the repair and restoration of mechanical equipment. The candidate must be happy to work and stay away from home and ideally will have basic electrical and hydraulic experience.

The Role:

• Perform proactive maintenance on equipment involved in the production of feed and biofuel,
• Service and maintain mechanical drive components,
• Attend customer sites based across the UK
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high level of service to customers

The Person:

• Qualified in mechanical engineering with experience in servicing and mounting mechanical drive components.
• Experience producing and completing proactive & preventative maintenance
• Experience performing lifting and slinging tasks
• Hydraulic & electric experience is advantageous.
