Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry, and is seeking a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer in the Yorkshire area to cover newly won contracts. The role will be varied, so applicants will ideally hold a wide range of hands-on skills. Sites you will be covering, include: commercial, manufacturing, local authority and public sector. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: overtime opportunities and excellent training schemes.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a well-established outfit
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to have experience with process systems, i.e. Cooling Towers and Closed Systems
- Good written ability
- Comfortable using software to complete reports
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Undertaking a range of ACOP L8 compliance duties in order to maintain safety across a range of client sites
- Showerhead descales
- Basic flushing of little used outlets
- TMV inspections and servicing
- Inspections of cold water storage tanks and cleans & disinfections
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Closed system sampling
- Completing regular service reports and updating logbooks
- Travelling to client sites as required
