Asbestos Surveyor Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £33,500 DOE
- Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am to 5pm
- Location: Leeds/West Yorkshire - may be expected to work away occasionally

Asbestos Surveyor Duties:
- Surveyors will adhere to the professional code of conduct when entering client's premises as and uphold the good reputation of the company at all times.
- Check and inspect equipment used on the daily basis, prior to each job and report any problems to the Project Manager without delay. The Surveyor is answerable to the Project Manager.
- The Surveyor will deputise for fellow surveyors and will be deputised by fellow surveyors.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System
- All surveyors must be familiar with the in-house method statement & procedures
- Be familiar with the risk assessment process
- Carry out risk assessments as per HSG264/ ACOP L8/ National Domestic Standards for Domestic Energy Assessors (whichever one is applicable)
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of health and safety/health and safety legislation
- All surveyors must monitor, adapt and review their own methods for surveying as per HSG264, In House Method Statement and MQP112 - Asbestos Surveying Procedure
- Provide advice on operational matters
- Provide Technical support as competent person
- All surveyors must attend regular staff meetings to discuss issues and improvements
- Ensuring the organisation meets all its legal and safety commitments
- All surveyors must report to seniors with any improvement ideas#
- Lead by example
Asbestos Surveyor Criteria:
- P402 or RSPH Certificate in Asbestos Surveying
- Min 6 months experience in the same capacity
- Full UK driving licence - no more than 3 points
