Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos firm with new contracts in the Yorkshire region. They are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their well-respected and busy team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong industry knowledge as well as excellent client-facing skills and professionalism. It would be beneficial for candidates to have close access to the M62 for easier travel. Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited company
- Qualified with the BOHS P402 as a minimum (or RSPH equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
- Good written and IT abilities
- Professional manner
- Excellent client-facing experience
The Role:
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a range of client sites
- Safely collecting ACM samples from site
- Writing bespoke asbestos survey reports
- Completing re-inspection surveys
- Meeting with clients on-site to provide technical advice and answer any queries
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Working in accordance with health & safety and compliance guidelines
