Our client is a National Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy with offices throughout every major city in the UK.
Due to an increase in their current work load they are looking for a Building Surveyor to join their growing Building Surveying team based in Edinburgh
The successful candidate will be working on a wide and varied range of building surveying disciplines in a commercial environment with an enviable and national client base including The Crown Estate, Aviva, Legal & General and M&G among others.
Role/Responsibilities
• Contract administration
• Technical Due Diligence
• Dilapidations
• Building Pathology
• General building surveying commercial work in line with a Chartered Building Surveyor role
Skills/Experience
• Degree in Building Surveying & ideally MRICS Qualified with 0-2 years experience as a minimum
• Excellent and accurate report writing skills
• Experience of working in a pro-active commercial environment
• Sound knowledge of building contracts in a commercial context
• Some previous experience carrying out Principal Designer duties
