Our client is an award winning leading independent firm providing their clients with some of the most comprehensive and forward-thinking advice available.

They offer a range of complementary quantity surveying, project management, building surveying and advisory services from conception, through design and construction and operational performance of facilities to their eventual disposal or reuse.

Their dedicated Building Surveying Team proactively undertake surveys and project manage schemes in addition to providing various other services, including contract administration, employer's agent, project monitoring, specification writing, condition surveys, fire safety consultancy, neighbourly matters and dilapidations.

Our client is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor/Senior Building Surveyor ideally Chartered or with the relevant level of previous experience to join their Yorkshire and Humberside Team.

Experience/Specification

Degree qualified in Building Surveying
Collaborative leadership skills and experience
Technical delivery experience
MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body
Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
Excellent specification writing skills
Detailed understanding of JCT Contracts
Project Management exposure of projects from inception to completion
Experience working with key stakeholders
Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
Able to build long-term relationships
Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
A team player, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to strengthen our department and further develop the business by working closely with our existing clients and developing new business.

There is the opportunity to be based from either Leeds or Sheffield.
