We are working closely with a highly successful provider of Fire Safety Services in the West Yorkshire region who are now seeking to take on a Fire Risk Assessor. You will be attending our client's longstanding, mixed portfolio of sites including Blue-Chip clients, to carry out Fire Risk Assessments in line with relevant Health and Safety Guidelines and agreed timeframes. The successful candidate will ideally have experience carrying out Fire Door / Fire Compartmentation Surveys, but training can be provided. This would be an ideal role for someone who is looking to join a successful and continuously expanding company. Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working as a Fire Risk Assessor for a FIRAS / BAFE accredited Fire Safety company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Holding the NEBOSH fire / FPA Fire Risk Assessment Competency / NEBOSH Health & Safety or other industry relevant qualification would be beneficial to the role.
" Having training in carrying out Fire Door / Fire Compartmentation Surveys would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
" Able to work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
" Good IT skills.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels.
" Organising workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
" Undertaking in-depth Fire Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites.
" Efficiently identifying fire hazards, creating detailed and site-specific fire safety plans.
" Working closely with clients, ensuring they understand measures that need to be taken.
" Using information from site to produce detailed reports, ensuring to submit them to clients in a timely manner.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Being proactive in ensuring you have up to date knowledge and experience on the lates fire safety legislation and technologies.
" Carrying out training and presentations when required.
" Assisting in maintaining the companies FIRAS / BAFE accreditations.
" Providing support in Health and Safety consultancy provisions & site audits.

Alternative Job titles: Fire risk assessor, Fire Engineer, Environmental Risk Assessor, Health and Safety Risk Assessor.
