About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer to lead and deliver complex geotechnical design projects across multiple sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected engineering consultancy at the forefront of cutting-edge infrastructure projects. You will play a vital role in shaping sustainable infrastructure by applying your expertise in geotechnical detailed design and finite element (FE) analysis.
Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the detailed geotechnical design across a range of sectors, including rail, highways, nuclear, renewables, and water infrastructure projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and contribute to their technical development.
- Perform detailed FE analysis to ensure innovative and resilient design solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality technical guidance and ensure project objectives are met.
- Drive project delivery from concept through to construction, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer Qualifications and Skills:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
- Demonstrable expertise in geotechnical detailed design, including proficiency in FE analysis.
- Proven experience in leading complex infrastructure projects within relevant sectors.
- Strong project management skills and ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative approach to work across multidisciplinary teams.
