Senior Building Surveyor/Project Manager

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor with a strong focus on contract administration and project management to enhance their dynamic commercial building surveying team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-calibre professional advice and make a significant impact for clients.

This role will be a 50/50 split between Building Surveying and Project Management depending on the requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract administration and project management within the commercial sector.
  • Conduct pre-acquisition surveys, technical due diligence, and manage refurbishment projects.
  • Handle general building surveying tasks, including dilapidations and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

What They're Looking For:

  • MRICS with a minimum of 3 years PQE and a degree in Building Surveying.
  • Strong report writing skills and expertise in general building surveying.
  • Proven experience in a proactive commercial environment, along with sound knowledge of building contracts.
  • Ability to meet fee targets, generate new business, and cultivate strong client relationships.
